Bio: Though Olivia has the same long, ginger hair, and creamy complexion of her mother, the pretty teen unfortunately did not inherit the older woman's body. Exceptionally tall (5'10"), and thin approximately 130 pounds), Livie is known more for her impossibly long legs and dark hazel eyes. Both are qualities passed down from her father. More interested in being one of the guys than drawing their attention Olivia's style is rather casual. Her make-up and hair are almost always kept natural even on special occasions. When the time does come in which attention to fashion is important, Olivia's outfits tend to be hit or miss. She tries whatever gets her attention at the local boutique and hopes it will work out. Often times they don't...
Olivia’s parents met almost 25 years ago, when her mother was running a small coffee-shop in Providence Rhode Island. One night into the café waltzed the tall, charming British Rock singer Oliver Priest whom had escaped to America to take a break from his career having just been released from an English rehab facility. Kaylyn Johnson had no idea who the cocky musician was when he began frequenting her business, but soon the young Brit had taken a job performing for the costumers on the weekends. From their work relationship soon bloomed a romantic one. One that made up for what it lacked in commitment with passion.
Livie's father had been known for having a wondering eye, and though he had never been unfaithful there came a time, that the pair took their leave from one another, allowing Oliver to return to England to figure out to whom his heart truly belonged. After several months of thought and self inspection Olivia's father returned to America to reclaim Kaylyn, and asked her to be his wife. From this marriage, was born Olivia DeAnne Priest, named entirely after her father, the love of her mother's life.
Soon after Olivia's birth however, her dad returned to his musical career, something that put much strain on their marriage. Only five years into it, the two were filing for divorce, and Olivia became the child of a broken home. When her mother moved back to America Livie was forced to split her time between both countries, and both parents. Neither of which ever remarried, either because they were too scorned, or too heart-broken at the loss of their love, it would never be known. Neither ever had another child.
From her father Olivia has developed a respect both of music and sports, most especially soccer. She has taken lessons in singing, as well as the piano and guitar. And though she is quite good at both, she does not have the passion or desire to perform required to make it a career. In this way she finds herself much more like her other parent, a devout business owner.
From her mother Olivia has developed a feisty temper or what her father has always called a fire-cracker personality. She tends to burn hot, and fast, and then fizzles quickly after the explosion. Basically she’s short tempered and quick to get mad, however she can’t stay that way very long. She is fiercely loyal to those that are lucky enough to see past her cynical outer layer and become her friend. And though from first glance one would assume the slender red-head is bitter and jaded when it comes to emotion, the truth is she is actually a hopeless romantic inside.
Despite the fact much of her life has been spent with her mother, as her father was often touring, Olivia has still managed to be the apple of her Dad's eye. A bit of a Daddy's girl Olivia has always tried to her best to live up to her father's dreams for her and takes after him in several ways. She is lively and flirty like Oliver, and enjoys being the center of attention, more often than not being willing to be naughty to make that happen. She enjoys the odd drink, poker game and cigarette, but only as social activities, she is not a party girl by any means, despite her family's wealth or fame.
When Kaylyn decided to expand the family's coffee business by opening locations in other states, Olivia was the natural choice for whom would head up one of the new stores. Given the choice of which franchise she wanted to run, Olivia selected Chicago, as she has always been a big city girl at heart. She is a dedicated business woman, but unlike her mother, Olivia tends to have a more relaxed style of managing the company. These tactics seemed to have proven successful, during Olivia's tenure as manager of the smaller, original location in Providence Rhode Island. And now she only hopes to be to do the say when the doors open in Chicago.

Storybook: Storybook example: Olivia Johnson was standing behind of the counter of her family’s coffee shop when she heard the sound of approaching footsteps. Her large, round hazel eyes lifting from where they had been focused, as she tried to scrub a particularly stubborn and sticky spot of the otherwise smooth surface. Her soft lips curved into her friendly, professional smile, as she gazed up at the customer, appraising them, trying to decide in her mind just what sort of person this was. Often times she would make bets with herself, as to what a newcomer would order just by looking at them. But this, young man, with his dark eyes and caramel colored skin, was the likes of which she had never seen, and for a moment, Olivia had almost forgotten to breathe.
First person: The doors open today on my first stand alone location. It is the first time I won't have my mother standing behind me, watching everything I do. Its the first time when the success of my family business as rested entirely on my shoulders. And I suppose it about time. I have been being trained for this day most of my life, and I will either sink or swim. Please, everyone wish me luck.
